LEAN & DIGITAL FOR MANUFACTURING EXCELLENCE

HITACHI ENERGY is the leader in design and manufacturing of generator circuit-breakers (GCBs) since 1954 with more than 8,000 deliveries in over 100 countries. The award winning facility in Zurich is spread over 2,200 square meters and has been designed on the principle of Lean Production techniques for manufacturing state-of-the-art GCBs in SF6 technology with nominal currents from 6,300 A to over 50,000 A. GCBs increase protection of key equipment like generators and power transformers, ensure power plant availability, simplify operational procedures and reduce costs.

GIS FACTORY ZURICH
DATA & TECHNOLOGIES OF THE SMART FACTORY

HITACHI ENERGY has always been and continues to drive innovation in gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), which are installed at switching stations and substations at relay points for sending electricity produced at power plants to consumers such as homes and factories. The GIS is a compact, metal encapsulated switchgear that uses pressurized insulating gas, enabling safe operations in confined spaces while significantly reducing equipment size. The factory in Zurich is spread over 10,000 square meters and produces a large variety of reliable high-voltage GIS with technology that can isolate 145 kV to 550 kV at a single point.

Participation fee
The participation fee per person amounts to 1490.00 Euro (plus VAT if applicable) and includes two factory visits, presentations, drinks and coffee, lunches and dinner. 

Event registration
Due to the limited number of places, we accept up to three registrations from the same company. The event organiser and the host company reserve the right to exclude participants for competitive reasons.

Hotel and accomodation
Fees for hotel and accomodation are not included in the event price. The event starts and ends at the Courtyard by Marriott Zurich North. As event participant, please book your room in the Courtyard hotel from the room contingent under the keycode “ROI”. If you book your room before 7 August 2022, you will get a room at a preferred price.

General terms and regulations
After receipt of the registration, the customer will receive an invoice with the confirmation of registration. The invoice amount is due with a pay­ment term of 20 days without deduction. Written cancellation is possible free of charge up to 30 days before the start of the event. After this date the entire participation fee remains due in case of cancellation. If a registered participant is unable to attend, a substitute participant from the same company may attend at no further cost.The event organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event offered in the program in the case of insufficient demand, cancellation of the host company or for other reasons for which the organizer is not responsible (e.g. sudden illness, force majeure, etc.), even after confirmation of participation, but no later than 14 days before the start of the event. If there are any Corona regulations stipulated by law or by the host company that are relevant for the execution of the event, the participant will be informed before the event and needs to comply with those regulations. Otherwise participation is not possible.
